Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected and thrilling return for series Creator Ron Gilbert that continues the story of the legendary adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island as well as Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a long time since he was last engaged in an intellectual fight against LeChuck the vampire pirate enemy. The woman he loves most, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from the governing process and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled. He has never found that Secret of Monkey Island. The hip, young pirates, led by Captain Madison, have removed the old guard. Melee Island is now struggling and Stan, a well-known businessman has been sentenced prison for “marketing-related violations”.
